SUBSTANCE: invention relates to treatment of synthesis gas and can be used in chemical and oil and gas industry. Method of purifying synthesis gas involves introduction of high-temperature synthesis gas in water-cooled cooling tower 2. From water-cooled tower cooler 2 synthesis gas is fed into tubular waste heat recovery boiler 3 for extraction of temperature of waste heat. Obtained medium-pressure steam is fed into external devices. Synthesis gas is then transferred into tubular waste heat recovery boiler 4 for collection of low-temperature waste heat and obtained low pressure steam is fed into external devices. Synthesis gas is cooled in tubular waste heat recovery boiler 4 with simultaneous separation of heavy resin and fed into venturi scrubber 5. Synthesis gas is then fed into wet electrical dust collector 6 and content of dust and resin in synthesis gas < 10 mg/Nm3. Treated synthesis gas is transferred into wet gas tank 7 for storage or into process downstream for use.
EFFECT: invention simplifies method of cleaning, reduces duration thereof, reduces power consumption, improves efficiency and stability of synthesis gas.
