FIELD: energy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat engineering and can be used in cavitation type heat generators for heating of liquids in hydraulic systems for various purposes, as well as mixers of different liquids. In hydrodynamic cavitator comprising housing, made in form of pipe, chamber with two branch pipes with nozzles connected to housing input, nozzles are arranged to contact with chamber walls and are directed towards inlet into housing, and their axes are located in one plane at angle to each other. In such cavitator all non-productive flows are excluded, and flows involved in development of acoustic wave are stable and controlled.
EFFECT: as result it is possible to produce high-quality sound wave with required properties at minimum costs, which in housing and chamber creates periodic cavitation caverns with required dimensions and which, when collapse will perform either more heat energy, or ensure better performance of technological processes.
