FIELD: heat engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cavitation-type heat generators for heating liquids and can be used in heating systems for buildings and structures, vehicles, water heating for industrial and domestic needs and can also be used as mixers for various liquids, dispersion, destruction of molecular bonds in complex liquids, changes in the physical and mechanical properties of liquids. The hydrodynamic cavitator includes a body 1 made in the form of a pipe, a chamber 2 with nozzles 3, 4, 5 connecting the body 1 with the discharge pipe 6 of the vane pump, which also comprises an impeller 8, a spiral outlet 9, the flow part of which comprises a tongue 10 at the junction to the pressure pipe 6, the suction pipe 11 connected to the outlet of the housing 1 by the circulation pipeline 13 with the inlet 14 and outlet 15 transit pipes. A bar 16 is installed on the tongue 10, which sets the radial clearance to the impeller 8. On the pressure branch pipe 6 along its cross section in the region of the tongue 10, branch pipes 17, 18, 19 are installed with pipelines 20, 21, 22 of different lengths connected to the branch pipes of the chamber 2, the number of which is determined by the ratio of the technological frequency of the hydrodynamic cavitator (ƒtech =1000÷3000 Hz) to the product of the rotational speed of the impeller and its number of blades (n*z). The bar 16 can be made in the form of a rocker arm 23 connected by a shaft 24 with a latch 25 located on the outer surface of the spiral outlet 9. In this case, each of the pipelines 20, 21, 22 can be equipped with a length corrector 26.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of converting energy into heat by using high-amplitude low-frequency acoustic vibrations of the working fluid in a centrifugal pump.
