FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical microbiology and can be used in gastroenterology. Disclosed is method of determining sensitivity of Helicobacter pylori to antibacterial agents. Series of double dilutions of antibacterial preparations in Schaedler Broth with pH 7.6±0.2 is conducted in horizontal wells of 96-well plate. Prepared suspension of bacteria is introduced in wells, culture is incubated in microaerophilic conditions for 24 hours at temperature of 37 °C. Reagent is added used in set-up of urease test of Helicobacter pylori identification. Optical density of plate holes content is determined with spectrophotometer, using wave length of 630 nm. Minimum suppressing antibiotic concentration is determined when plotting ratio of antibiotic concentration and optical density diagram and is located at point of curve output to optical density level zero value.

EFFECT: method provides higher accuracy of determining sensitivity of Helicobacter pylori cultures of to antibacterial agents.
