FIELD: lighting.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lighting engineering. Serial assembly of LED loads (LP1-LP4) is connected between output connectors of rectifier, input connectors of which are connected to mains supply source, which supplies low-frequency alternating voltage. Control means makes LED loads alternately conducting when supply voltage amplitude is increased, and alternately non-conducting when supply voltage amplitude decreases. First LED load (LP1, LP2) has forward voltage substantially greater than that of other LED loads.

EFFECT: high degree of using light-emitting diodes, which enables to obtain relatively cheap LED loads used in series assembly.
