FIELD: lighting engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a light-emitting diode (LED) device and a method of controlling a light-emitting diode load. Result is achieved by the fact that LED light module (1) comprises input terminals (13hi, 131o) for its connection to input voltage (Uin), LED load (10), capable of operating at the upper threshold voltage level, and adjusting circuit (11, 12) adapted to reduce the current (ILED) of the LED through LED load (10) when the input voltage (Uin) is greater than the upper threshold voltage level.

EFFECT: technical result is provision of current regulation through LED load.
