FIELD: pipe.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of forming underwater pipeline at its laying. At that, multilayer metal pipe sections (2a, 2b), for example, with internal coating (6) by corrosion-resistant alloy and with chamfers on ends are coupled with end of pipeline with formation of welded ring joint (8), are made as internal and external welding passages. After that is external welding pass, for example burners (10) for arc welding, during which welding metal is deposited into root of welded joint (8), thereby forming root seam (4r), and then internal welding pass at root seam (4r) is performed by means of plasma welding, during which root seam (4r) is fused and changes shape.
EFFECT: higher quality of welded connection of pipe sections and reliability of whole pipeline.
