FIELD: nuclear physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nuclear engineering and can be used in control systems of nuclear reactors. Method of nuclear reactor parameter control by moving the controls for change reactivity by signal of deviation of the measured parameter from the specified value is additionally introduced forming characteristics of the controller by signal of calculated positive and negative nuclear reactor reactivity and correction of controller gain coefficient depending on value and sign of reactivity. When the signal of deviation of measured parameter from a given value results in a signal of calculated reactivity, the controller gain coefficient is reduced proportionally to increase positive and negative reactivity under the specified correction algorithm.

EFFECT: technical result consists in increase of range of controlled depth and rate of change of power during control of one of the nuclear reactor parameters at maintaining installed safety.
