FIELD: automatic warm-up of thermal power stations and heat supply systems. SUBSTANCE: proposed method is used to warm up power installations and heating systems burning all kinds of fuel including nuclear fuel and provided with forced and natural boiling and non-boiling coolant circulation system, and also for automatic transfer of plant incorporating nuclear reactor during its starting period from critical or subcritical to automatic warm-up condition. Warm-up control of power installation at desired rate of coolant temperature variation is effected by varying its power with aid of regulator responding to control signal proportional to difference between signals of measured and desired power. In the process signal difference of measured and desired rate of change of coolant temperature is generated, desired power equal to warm-up value is set to ensure desired rate of warm-up duty, signal difference between measured and desired rate of coolant temperature variation is integrated, and regulator is controlled by sum of control signal and integration resultant signal. In the course of starting boiling-coolant power installation coolant pressure is measured and rate-of-pressurevariation signal is generated and added to rate-of-temperaturevariation signal. Warm-up duty is ceased in response to temperature or pressure signal. In automatic transfer from starting condition of power installation incorporating nuclear reactor to warm-up duty powervariation signal is introduced in control signal.
