FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of blow moulding two plates of hollow vessels using auxiliary male moulds. Disclosed method comprises following steps: 1) blanking two parisons; 2) closing mould halves of a mould and a pre-molding template; 3) pre-stretching the molten parisons by using auxiliary male moulds in pre-moulding template; 4) performing internal high-pressure blow moulding, and pre-moulding two sheet housing portions; 5) opening mould, and withdrawing pre-moulding template; 6) moving device for installation of inner components to attach internal components; 7) extraction device for installation of internal components; 8) repeated closure of mould and final blow moulding of hollow tank; 9) opening of mould, removing article. In method for manufacturing plastic fuel tanks with a large stretching ratio and uniform wall thickness distribution, by using auxiliary male moulds in pre-moulding process where mould halves of mould and pre-moulding template are closed, pre-stretching is performed in areas of sheet workpieces, wherein sheet workpieces are stretched to highest degree.
EFFECT: achieving higher freedom of design for such fuel tanks and providing higher quality of moulding articles.
