SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. Method of producing slowly acting fertilizers with silica coating involves sequential processing fertiliser solutions of sodium silicate and calcium chloride at 30-40 °C, then drying encapsulated granules at 60±5 °C in fluidised bed, wherein treatment of solutions is performed in separate zones of the apparatus, wherein solutions are supplied in jets in pulsed mode and activation of fluidized bed mixing devices, drying of encapsulated granules is carried out in two steps the first of which is implemented in zone of processing solution of calcium chloride after completion of irrigation, second stage is implemented in a separate apparatus air flow with temperature of 60±5 °C. Proposed fluid bed apparatus can be used for periodic processes.

EFFECT: invention enables to adapt known method of producing fertiliser with coating from silicate film (shell), as well as device for implementing such method for their use in industrial scale.
