FIELD: medicine; optical system.
SUBSTANCE: progressive ophthalmic lens comprises front and rear surfaces. Each point of each surface features height, average value of sphere and value of cylinder. Front surface of lens comprises zone of vision at large distance, containing base point (FV) vision at large distance; zone of view aside, containing base point (NV) vision aside; main meridian (32). Front surface is regressive and has rated value (GradSPH) sphere gradient equal to less than 7.50×10-1 mm-1 at any point in central part of lens, containing part of the main meridian, base point (FV) vision at large distance and base point (NV) vision aside; rated value (GradCYL) cylinder gradient equal to less than 1.45 mm-1 at any point in central part of lens.
EFFECT: easier production progressive ophthalmic lens with simultaneous preservation of optical properties of lens.
