CONTACT LENS COMPRISING NON-COAXIAL ELEMENTARY LENSES FOR PREVENTING AND/OR SLOWING THE PROGRESSION OF MYOPIA Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC G02C7/04

Abstract RU 2724357 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: ophthalmic lens for slowing down, preventing or preventing loss of visual acuity comprises an anterior convex surface, a back concave surface, an optical zone, including basic areas of basic spherical correction and plurality of non-coaxial elementary lenses with additivity, and peripheral zone surrounding optical zone. Optical area including the basic areas of basic spherical correction, provides far vision correction, and the optical power of the non-coaxial elementary lenses is a positive or optical area, comprising the main areas of the basic spherical correction, provides a positive optical refraction force, and the optical power of the non-coaxial elementary lenses is negative. Multiple non-coaxial elementary lenses with additivity are arranged to direct light through the main optical axis of the lens.

EFFECT: technical result is higher clinical effectiveness, providing reduced and/or slower progression of myopia, which intensifies the myopic blurring effect, without affecting the image quality in the central fossa.
