FIELD: data processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for continuous monitoring, assessing and predicting state of uncertainty of interaction of ship with ambient medium. To achieve technical result in proposed method signals are recorded in ship and environment in extreme situation parameters measurement unit, determining level of situation uncertainty and comparing current values of parameters of entropy with fixed values. In case of extreme situation in conditions of high uncertainty basic value of key parameter relative to which abeyance is considered, entropic potential and its increment using competitive ratio is determined, recognition of uncertainty level is performed and uncertainty dynamics mathematical models are formed, calculating value of complex entropic potential and determining change in characteristics of entropy, developing of situation is predicted.
EFFECT: higher degree of reliability of operation of onboard systems for providing navigation safety of vessels in case of emergency situations.
