FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of designing multi-mode intelligent system (MIS) to control distributed environment of soft computing. Method involves construction of MIS in accordance with selected motion modes for different control structures operating based on a measuring system; determining for selected motion modes a plurality of permissible values of phase variable vector of the measurement system based on the criterion of quality control; generating control effects while designing dynamic environment of soft calculations and hardware of distributed inhomogeneous complex structures; analyzing the alternatives and selecting a preferred solution using the evolutionary algorithm, principle of competition and data of dynamic measurements of parameters of the ship and environment; creating composite applications of scenarios of data stream in distributed environment of computing services and levels of information and software provision; implementing the design MIS operations based on competing strategies of decision making in multi-mode dynamic environment.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of efficiency of MIS design.
