FIELD: construction; measurement technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to monitoring and diagnostics of prestressed reinforced-concrete girders and superstructures of bridges. Method involves exposing concentrated dynamic impact load on beam after reinforcement pre-stressing, measurement of main oscillation frequency, determining analytical value of natural oscillation frequency of structure taking into account predicted rated value of tension in superstructure center in upper compressed fiber of beam structure, pretension force in reinforcement, modulus of elasticity, reinforcement design length, distance from neutral axis to compressed fibre, Euler force. Value of reinforcement pre-stressing is judged by deviation of measured frequency of oscillations from analytical oscillation frequency.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of determining value of reinforcement pre-stressing due to taking into account all losses of reinforcement pre-stressing with any method of tensioning of rebars (on thrusts, on concrete).
