FIELD: bridge engineering. SUBSTANCE: beam used for strengthening beam structures of industrial and residential buildings, bridge structures being in service, and for building pre-stressed structures made of miscellaneous materials has wood wall strengthened by longitudinal reinforcing rods along lower edge and upper reinforced concrete slab joined to wall by means of shear-receiving devices made in the form of inclined links installed at acute angle to butt-ends of beam. Novelty is that longitudinal reinforcing rods are provided at their ends with reactive force compensation devices made in the form of transversal stops contacting anchors, spring loaded cylindrical sleeves hinged to inclined links by means of lateral straps; angle of slope of mentioned inclined links with increase in distance between links and respective butt-end towards center of beam; opposing ends of inclined links are also joined to longitudinal rib-shaped projections of reinforced concrete slab for turn through lateral straps; height of projections is minimum one third of that of wood wall. Stiffness of shear links is varied to reduce strain between reinforced concrete slab and glued wood wall. EFFECT: extended time of pre-stress effect and release moment in beam structure; improved degree of transversal crimping to reduce cleavage stresses. 10 dwg
