FIELD: packaging industry.
SUBSTANCE: self-heating container for food products, subjected to preliminary culinary treatment, contains an external receiving device, having a base, a lateral surface and a top opening, a lower tank, having a base, a side surface and a top opening, placed into the external receiving device and containing calcium oxide, a package with water and a punch for breakthrough of the package and mixing of water with calcium oxide, causing the exothermic reaction. Container comprises a top tank for food products, equipped with a base, a side surface and an upper opening, a cover. Upper tank is fixed to the external receiving device and to the periphery of the upper end of the lower tank by means of an adhesive. External receiving device has alternately arranged on its side surface: vertical recessed sectors for centering of the lower tank relative to the external receiving device and vertical extending sectors, forming hollow side chambers between the lower tank and the side surface of the external receiving device. External receiving device has, according to the upper end of the vertical sectors, a perimetric step for a linear support of a protruding edge formed in the upper hole of the lower tank. Upper tank contains a perimetric step in the area adjacent to its upper end for its support and fixation by an adhesive on the protruding top edge of the lower tank; at that, the larger part of the outer surface of the upper tank is located under the said perimetric step and inside the lower tank.
EFFECT: invention ensures optimisation of heat use, reduction of heat losses and losses of components for conducting reaction.
