FIELD: heat insulation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of installation and devices used for mounting of heat insulation based on foam plastic at outer surfaces of bottoms of fuel tanks. Device for implementation of the proposed method consists of a transport trolley with fixed in horizontal position fuel tank and process equipment for preparing a mixture of components of heat insulation and formation of insulation on external surface of bottom of fuel tank. Process equipment comprises bearing frame with running gear with fixed intake bag for heat insulation. Intake bag is made of elastic material and is arranged to interact with external surface of fuel tank bottom. On the bearing frame above the intake bag there is a hopper installed for preparing a mixture of components of heat insulation. Fuel tank arranges a process ring with fixed horizontal guide bars arranged to interact with receiving holes made on the bearing frame on the side of fuel tank. Hopper is equipped with heaters, vibrators and rotary tray arranged above the intake bag neck. Inner surface of intake bag is coated with anti-adhesion coating.

EFFECT: invention allows improving operating characteristics of methods of installation of heat insulation made from foam plastic on the outer surface of fuel tank bottom.
