FIELD: oil industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heating of high-viscosity oil in pipelines with electromagnetic fields. Heating method involves continuous action of electromagnetic field on the flow of oil in pipeline, in which a minimum critical temperature tkN is determined, below which the product temperature does not fall, and max. critical temperature tkV, above which the heating of product is not feasible; temperature measurement unit records initial temperature of products in pipeline t0; if t0 < tkN, then via control the first electromagnetic valve is open and the second electromagnetic valve is closed. Proposed device comprises generator of electromagnetic waves, coaxial cable for connection of generator with radiator, pipeline, the pipeline is equipped with bypass and built-in radiator.
EFFECT: method and device will allow to reduce emergencies on pipelines and station points, as well as to enhance the time of product cooling in pipeline, since this method warm the entire volume of product.
