FIELD: oil industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of heating high-paraffin and high-viscosity oils in pipelines by electromagnetic fields and can be used by oil transportation enterprises when transporting high-paraffin and high-viscosity oils through field and main pipelines. Method for electromagnetic treatment of high-viscosity and high-paraffin oils in pipelines involves continuous exposure to an electromagnetic field on an oil flow in a bypass with a built-in emitter, wherein frequency of electromagnetic field is selected depending on value of parameter K, determined by formula , where A, R, P and S are fractions of asphaltenes, resins, paraffins and sulphur in the transported oil, respectively, namely: 13.56 MHz or 2.45 GHz in case of values of K < 3; 13.56 MHz in case of values of 3 ≤ K ≤ 25; 2.45 GHz, in case of values of K > 25, wherein in case of K < 3 values of dielectric loss tangent tgδ at frequencies of 13.56 MHz and 2.45 GHz and selecting the frequency of the electromagnetic field for treating oil by the maximum value of tgδ.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of transported oil heating by electromagnetic fields.
