FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: device includes measuring section, streamlined body, permanent magnet and induction coil. Measuring section is made in the form of pipeline. Streamlined body is installed along the diameter of the measurement section so that its longitudinal axis is perpendicular to the flow of liquid metal heat carrier. Permanent magnet and induction coil are located inside the streamlined body, the line connecting poles of permanent magnet forms an angle with the longitudinal axis of the measurement section, and axis of the inductance coil forms angle with the line connecting the poles of permanent magnet.

EFFECT: simplified design of the flow meter and high accuracy of determining flow rate of liquid metal heat carrier.
