FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: railroad wheel includes rim, consisting of rolling surface, flange and side surfaces limited by inner diameters of the rim at outer and inner sides, hub and disc formed by outer and inner surfaces, symmetrical in regard to the middle line of disk cross-section perpendicular to gear rotational axis and passing through first point at the point of minimum thickness of the disc and its conjugation with rim, second and third point between which there is a part of the disk of constant thickness with mounting surfaces and holes for installation of disc brakes, the fourth point at the point of minimum thickness of disk at the hub side and the fifth point in the point of conjugation with hub. Theoretical middle line of transverse section of the disk is located at distance of 0.45-0.55 of rim width from its side surfaces. Inner diameter of the rim at inner side equals to 1.00-1.03 of inner diameter of the rim at outer side. Diameter comprising the second point of middle line equals to 0.93-0.94 of inner diameter of the rim at outer side. Diameter comprising the third point of middle line equals to 0.62-0.64 of inner diameter of the rim at outer side, and diameter of hub at outer and inner sides equals to 0.32-0.34 of inner diameter of the rim at outer side.
EFFECT: technical result consists in higher fatigue strength of the wheel.
