FIELD: ceramic industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions of glaze batch mixtures for applying on ceramic articles. Glaze mixture batch contains, wt%: quartz sand 38-45; red lead 20-25; potash 14-16; borax 9-12; dump granulated slag of copper-nickel production 9-12. In charge used is waste granulated slag of copper-nickel production, which includes, wt%: SiO₂ 35-40; FeO 31-35; Fe₂O₃ 2.5-4.5; MgO 7-11; sum of non-ferrous metals: copper, nickel, cobalt 0.3-0.5.

EFFECT: technical result is higher frost resistance of glazes, which makes 40-45 cycles.
