FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. To improve magnetic properties of non grain-oriented silicon steel, steel is melted in converter, at that, temperature T of molten steel during tapping from converter at melting, carbon content [C] in steel and content of free oxygen [O] satisfy following formula: 7.27∙103 ≤ [O][C]e(-5000/T) ≤ 2.99∙104. Obtained cast alloy of steel is subjected to hot rolling, normalisation, cold rolling to produce cold-rolled strip and low-temperature annealing at tension of cold-rolled strip.
EFFECT: by method under the present invention can be made non-textured siliceous steel with low losses in iron and improved characteristic of anisotropy of losses in iron.
