FIELD: metallurgy, particular, production of aluminium-base antifriction alloys applicable in manufacture of bearings. SUBSTANCE: the offered aluminium-base bearing alloy includes the following components, mas.%: lead 1.5-8.9; tin 7.0-15.0; copper 0.5-1.0; zinc 0.05-0.3; silicon 1.0-3.0; the balance, aluminium. The method of manufacture of bimetallic blank for bearings includes production of this alloy, its heat treatment, rolling to produce aluminium alloy strip in two stages with regulated reduction and intermediate annealing between stages, preparation of obtained strip and steel strip for combined deformation, their combined deformation to obtain bimetallic blank, and final annealing.
