FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal casing of aircraft gas turbine engine. Method of processing includes installation of casing on frame, bringing into rotation along axis of casing frame with speed of milling, milling trailing edge and/or leading edge of casing by means of milling device with controlled axial length of casing and removal of burrs from said edge of casing to remove at least one burr formed near said edge after milling. Milling device contains scraping tool, which mechanically processes burr by turning during rotation of casing with rotation speed in milling.
EFFECT: processing of casing by using one device without removal of casing, reduced time of treatment.
