FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, particularly to traumatology and orthopedics. A through canal in the calcaneal bone is created. At that, using tendon extractor plantar muscle tendon subcutaneously is drawn with length of 30-40 cm on distal base. This tendon is first lead out through channel of calcaneal bone, and then, maximum exaggeratedly ends of achilles tendon, in U-shaped manner lead out through thickness of its proximal portion and zigzag reinforced place of its rupture. Single seams are laid between achilles tendon and plantar muscle tendon.
EFFECT: method allows to create better conditions for growth of ends of ruptured Achilles tendon, strongly reinforcing point of damage, preventing recurrent ruptures and reduced probability of developing functional insufficiency of triceps muscle.
