SUBSTANCE: invention relates to increasing impact resistance of sheets made from polyacrylate by irrigation. Transparent and impact-resistant cross-linked acrylic composition consists of brittle matrix (I), having a glass transition temperature higher than 0 °C, and elastic domains having characteristic size smaller than 100 nm, consisting of macromolecular series (II) with elastic properties and glass transition temperature lower than 0 °C, characterised by number-average molecular weight between 30,000 and 500,000 g/mol, in which content of cross-linking agent is between 0.1 and 2 % by weight relative to cross-linked acrylic composition.
EFFECT: improved modulus of elasticity at bending and impact resistance.
