SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for continuous production of silicon dioxide. Method comprises continuous feed of oxidising agent and alkali metal silicate in loop reaction zone containing liquid medium flow, where part of acidifying agent and alkali metal silicate reacts with formation of silicon dioxide. Liquid medium is continuously circulated through loop reaction zone, and its part together with silicon dioxide is continuously discharged from loop of reaction zone.
EFFECT: invention enables to continuously obtain silicon dioxide.
