FIELD: heat-and-power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat engineering and can be used at thermal power plants (TPP) at low pressure steam turbines with blades with retaining flanges, and is intended for monitoring integrity of platforms to control number of disconnections on controlled turbine stage during operation. Engagement defect of platforms of working blades is determined by occurrence of a signal from disengaged platforms of working blades, and value of disengagement of blade platforms L (mm) is calculated by formula: , where Time is time interval measured between pulses of different polarity, caused by presence of defect; Rpm is rotary speed of turbine rotor with diagnosed blades; D is diameter of diagnosed stage on platforms (mm); Pi is number pi; 1 is unit; further, obtained value of disengagement of platforms of working blades L is compared with length of platform and degree of damage of working stage is determined.
EFFECT: proposed engineering solution widens its scope of application due to simplicity of implementation of measurement process at power facilities - steam turbines - without installation of inductors in retaining flanges of blades and higher reliability of measurement system due to absence of short-lived elements of measuring circuit - inductors and absence of phase sensor.
