SUBSTANCE: invention relates to turbomachines with working stages with blades without dampers or bandages, such as fans, blowers, compressors, steam and gas turbines, and it can be used for diagnosing defects of blades in process of operation. proposed method includes recording of parameter characterizing appearance and development of damage, determination of parameter and comparing it with basic value corresponding to blade in food repair at which, within preset time interval, point function of instantaneous position of blade top is determined by measuring values of deflections of blade top from its middle position at each revolution of rotor. Used as recorder parameter is change of basic value of number of harmonic with maximum amplitude in spectrum of expansion of said point function. EFFECT: improved efficiency and reliability of diagnosing owing to detection of blade defects at earlier stage of development. 1 dwg
