SUBSTANCE: device is intended for determination of track information (FI), which relate to section of path (14), which passenger travelled. Device comprises portable passenger receiving unit (16) for receiving signal, generated by ground transmitting unit (24, 28) connected with a certain location, and computing unit (32) for determination of track information by means of estimation of signal, wherein at least one signal characteristic of the received signal is estimated. First signal characteristic is information network identification of land network (26, 30). Computing unit at simultaneous registration of several networks as further signal characteristic evaluates time travel amplitude signal to define track information. Besides, in device there is unit (36) for assessment to determine transportation costs based on track information for travelled track segment.
EFFECT: providing accurate and unambiguous determination of location and automated calculation of transportation costs.
