SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system for information and orientation of visually impaired persons. System comprises installed on each vehicle an information module, a sound indicator and users' wearable mobile devices, wherein each information module is interfaced with a corresponding communication module interacting with portable mobile devices via a mobile data network, wherein the information module includes a unit for receiving, transmitting, storing and processing information, connected to the audio-visual information reproduction unit and the audio signal generating unit connected to the audio signal amplification unit connected to the audio indicator, communication module includes a unit for receiving, transmitting, generating and storing information, having communication with the radio exchange unit over wireless mobile networks connected to the antenna, mobile user device with an installed cross-platform mobile application, which includes electronic geo-maps for building a route and navigation and a voice assistant, comprises a unit for receiving, transmitting, storing and processing information, to which are connected units of tactile interaction, voice input, playback of speech information, a GNSS GLONASS signal receiver, a video camera, an inertial navigation sensor unit and a series-connected radio exchange unit over wireless mobile networks and an antenna, wherein the system comprises a central server providing the optimal route for the user, and data exchange between communication module and user mobile device via mobile data networks, and for user navigation simultaneously with global navigation data using the data from the video camera to determine the position in space, orientation and velocity vectors of the mobile device of the user by visual odometry methods, as well as inertial navigation sensor unit data for determining linear displacements, velocity vectors, accelerations, angular velocities and angular accelerations of the mobile device of the user.
EFFECT: high accuracy of navigation.
