SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway ACS and telemetry systems for metering of electric energy losses by electric rolling stock train at making up for delay time. Method involves comparison of actual consumption of electric energy at making up for delay time fixed by means of the on-board information-measuring complex on electric rolling stock, which enables recording power consumption, coordinates and speed with preset time interval, with basic value of power consumption for same section. At that, value of base consumption is defined as arithmetic mean of power consumption from sampling travel with similar parameters for trains crossing said section without making up for delay time for preceding period of time.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of determining non-productive losses of power by electric rolling stock train at making up for delay time.
