SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway automation and telemechanics for metering of electric energy losses of electric stock at unscheduled stops. Method involves comparison of actual consumption of electric energy at unscheduled stop, measured by means of the on-board information-measuring system on electric rolling stock, which enables to record power consumption, coordinates and speed with given time interval, with basic value of power consumption for same section. Value of basic consumption is defined as arithmetic mean power consumption of sampling trips with similar parameters for trains crossing said section without stops for previous period of time. Train stop association with unscheduled stop is carried out based on comparison of actual traffic schedule with a standard from GID-Ural system.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of determination of electric energy losses in electric stock at unscheduled stops.
