FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: dry cargo ship has fore and aft superstructure at main deck and freight compartment arranged there between and confined from above by hatch covers. Outer sidewall of freight compartment is composed by the row of struts rigidly tied by deck, rotary panels arranged between said struts and horizontal lengthwise beam secured at strut top ends. Note here that lengthwise beams of two sidewalls are rigidly connected by crosswise beam.
EFFECT: accelerated handling operations, higher ship crosswise strength.
