FIELD: shipbuilding. SUBSTANCE: cargo volume of ship having double sides and double bottom is divided longitudinally into compartments by means of transverse bulkheads. One of two adjacent compartments relative to each transverse bulkhead has continuous deck ceiling and other compartment is provided with cargo hatch, thus alternating the tanks and holds longitudinally. Two beams secured on deck longitudinally act as longitudinal coatings for cargo hatches. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 4 dwg
