FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to infant food. Disclosed is nutritional composition containing carbohydrates, protein and lipid, where lipid is present in form of lipid globules. At that, fatty acid composition of lipid comprises linoleic acid and alpha-linolenic acid in weight ratio from 2 to 10, at least 10 wt% of palmitic acid of total weight of fatty acids, and at least 30 wt% of palmitic acid is esterified in sn-2 triglyceride position of total weight of palmitic acid. Lipid globules have volume-modal diameter of 1.0 mqm or more. Disclosed is method of producing above nutritional composition, as well as food product containing nutritional composition.
EFFECT: nutritional composition is used to improve composition of body tissues, preventing or reducing risk of adiposity, prevention of type 2 diabetes, metabolic syndrome and osteopenia and/or osteoporosis, reducing risk of insulin resistance and improved insulin sensitivity.
