SUBSTANCE: invention relates to infant formula for infants born by caesarean section. Method for non-therapeutic improvement of the dynamics of postnatal growth or development of the body in an infant born by caesarean section, comprises administering a nutritional composition to an infant containing carbohydrates, protein and fat, where: fat contains linoleic acid and alpha-linolenic acid in weight ratio from 2 to 20 and at least 10 wt.% of palmitic acid in terms of total amount of fat. At least 15 wt.% of palmitic acid is esterified in sn-2 position of triglyceride in terms of total amount of palmitic acid. Nutritional composition contains fat globules that have: modal diameter in terms of volume of at least 1.0 mcm and/or diameter from 2 to 12 mcm in amount of at least 45 vol.% in terms of total fat content. Said fat globules are at least partially coated on the surface with phospholipids. Amount of phospholipids present in the nutritional composition ranges from 0.5 to 20 wt.% of phospholipids in terms of total fat content.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to improve dynamics of postnatal growth or body development in an infant born by caesarean section.
