FIELD: food industry; machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for preparation of beverages comprising an ingredient processing module for beverage preparation, in which ingredient is delivered in a capsule. Device comprises a positioner arranged to hold at least one capsule out of ingredient processing module. Device also has a sensitive element serving for detection of event associated with insertion by a user of a capsule in positioner. Upon detecting said event, device can move capsule in ingredient processing module by means of switch and then start beverage preparation process. Capsule is moved in processing module by gravity.
EFFECT: convenient and safe design of completely automated beverage preparation.
