FIELD: electronic equipment.
SUBSTANCE: detection system based on controller configured to adaptive examination of differences between detected light, which indicates event of arc short circuit, and detected light, which is not related to event of arc short circuit. In particular, detection system is configured to control electric power system for generating light events, which are connected with events of arc of short circuit. Using obtained information on events of occurrence of light, which are connected with events of arc short circuit detection system defines one or more algorithms of detection. During normal operation of electric power system adaptively determined one or more detection algorithm is used to identify events of arc short-circuiting in electric power system.
EFFECT: high sensitivity and reliability of protection.
