SUBSTANCE: invention relates to materials for construction of buildings, particularly to compositions of ceiling tiles. Cast ceiling tile, containing a mixture containing of 30 to 70 % mineral wool, 10 to 40 % granules of foamed glass, 8 to 20 % starch, 0 to 15 % gypsum plaster and 0 to 1 % boric acid, wherein tile is made by evaporation of water from viscous mass for casting.
EFFECT: sound absorption, relatively low density, fire resistance and resistance to sagging.
