FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to materials for construction of buildings, particularly to compositions of ceiling panels. Water felted base mat for a suspended ceiling tile contains, by weight, about 1/2 mineral wool, starch binder, limited to about 1/8, newspaper limited to about 1/8, and about 1/4 foamed glass granules, size of said granules ranges from about 1 to about 3 mm.
EFFECT: sound absorption, relatively low density, fire resistance and resistance to sagging.
