SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a steel sheet for hot stamping, a method of its production and a product obtained by hot stamping. Steel sheet has a composition comprising at least C: from 0.100 wt. % to 0.600 wt. %; Si: from 0.50 wt. % to 3.00 wt. %; Mn: from 1.20 wt. % to 4.00 wt. %; Ti: from 0.005 wt. % to 0.100 wt. %; B: from 0.0005 wt. % to 0.0100 wt. %; P: 0.100 wt. % or less; S: from 0.0001 wt. % to 0.0100 wt. %; Al: from 0.005 wt. % to 1.000 wt. % and N: 0.0100 wt. % or less; with the remainder of iron and impurities, the surface roughness of the steel sheet satisfies the condition Rz> 2.5 mcm. Anticorrosion oil in the amount of 50–1500 mg/m² is applied on the surface of the steel sheet. Amount of sulfur in said anti-corrosion oil, which is applied to the steel sheet, is 5 % by weight or less.

EFFECT: result is a steel sheet with excellent adhesion of dross during hot stamping without the adhesion of the molten metal to the die.
