SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power industry. Reactor comprises in each of three phases 1, 4, 5 two windings 2, 3, which by one lead are combined with windings of other phases in two stars, between zero leads of which is connected exciter 8, two ground throttles 10 and 11, each of which is connected to neutral leads of stars and ground 9. Novelty is that smoothing chokes are connected in parallel to short-circuiters, and long-term control signals are transmitted to thyristors of rectifier.
EFFECT: technical result is improved reliability.
