FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of preparing cobalt-bearing hydrocarbon synthesis catalyst precursor, which involves calcining loaded catalyst carrier, which is a catalyst carrier for application of cobalt salt, application of cobalt salt medium and further decomposition of cobalt salt and/or cobalt salt reaction with oxygen; so, that when firing a cobalt salt is converted to cobalt oxide, the calcination includes heating of catalyst carrier with a salt at temperature 90-220 °C, using one or more periods of fast heating at the specified temperature range, note here that heating of catalyst carrier with a salt takes place at a rate of at least 10 °C/min at a rate of gas flow through the catalyst carrier with a salt of at least 5 m3n/kg of salt of cobalt/h; one or more periods of slow heating at the specified temperature range, besides, heating the catalyst carrier with a salt takes place at a rate of less than 6 °C/min for calcining salt of cobalt and cobalt-containing precursor preparation of catalysts for synthesis of hydrocarbons. Invention also relates to a method of preparing catalyst for synthesis of hydrocarbons and to a method for synthesis of hydrocarbons.

EFFECT: technical result is obtaining a catalyst with fine crystalline particles and/or with high activity.
