FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydrocarbons synthesis cobalt catalyst producing method, wherein method comprises: calcination of catalyst initial precursor containing catalyst carrier, carrying cobalt compound, by heat treatment of catalyst initial precursor under non-reducing conditions for cobalt compound decomposition and/or for, to cause cobalt compound reaction with oxygen to obtain, so, calcined catalyst initial precursor; introduction of cobalt compound on and/or calcined catalyst initial precursor, in order to catalyst calcined initial precursor carried this cobalt compound obtaining so next catalyst precursor; and direct exposure of next catalyst precursor to reducing conditions without preliminary subjecting to heat treatment under oxidizing conditions, which causes cobalt compound on carrier oxidation or cobalt compound decomposition, for catalyst next precursor activation to produce, so, hydrocarbons synthesis cobalt-containing catalyst. Invention also relates to method of producing hydrocarbons in Fischer-Tropsch synthesis method, which involves in bringing hydrogen into contact with carbon monoxide at temperature above 100 °C and under pressure of at least 10 bar in presence of disclosed cobalt-containing catalyst.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improved catalyst activity and/or reduced selectivity with respect to formation of methane.
