SUBSTANCE: invention relates to application of image printing on plate from wood, in particular, on board of cellulose fiber material by digital printing, which includes following stages: a) measuring colour hue of boards from wood material at least one first batch and sending measurement results of colour hue to computer program; b) measuring colour hue of boards from wood material at least of next batch and sending measurement results of colour hue to computer program; c) measurement results of colour hue of boards from wood material at least one of the next batch processing in computer program and adjust color tones of digital printing; and c) application of image printing on at least one side boards from wood by digital printing to form decorative layer so that between printed patterns of boards from wood material at least one first batch and each next batch without any deviations of colour.
