SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the method of the printing image application onto the wood material board, in particular onto the wood fiber board, by the digital printing method comprising the stages of: a) wood material boards of at least one first batch colour tones measuring and sending the colour tones measurement results to the computer software; b) wood material boards of at least next batch colour tones measuring and sending the colour tones measurement results to the computer software; c) wood material boards colour tones measuring results processing of at least one next batch in the computer software and adjustment the digital printing colour tones; and c) printing the image onto at least one side of the wood-based boards by means of digital printing technology with the decorative layer formation so, that between the wood material boards printed patterns of at least one first batch and each subsequent batch no colour deviations occur.
